Another difficult project I am faced with is trying to find attendees for a Consumer Directed Healthcare Benefits Media publication called CDHC Solutions.
CDHC Solutions is a spin off group of a small media company named Field Media located in Alpharetta, GA.
As I initially indicated my current project is very difficult. I am trying to locate 300 interested attendees to attend a Health Care Benefits which will be held in Denver, CO on Sept 15-16, 2011.
It is a one and 1/2 day event and I am focusing on inviting Benefits Managers, Human Resources Managers. We are looking to focus on having the managers and directors attend to learn, share, connect and network with each other along with brokers and consultants from across the United States.
The difficult task comes due to fact that these are very busy people and the event comes during a time when employers are preparing for and having open enrollment which means the employees are in the process of choosing their health care benefits for 2012.
This is normally one of the most stressful times for anyone in HR or the Benefits department.
What we are stressing is the event was planned with the fact in mind that this is a busy time of year but it will only take one full day which will be on Thursday Sept., 15 and a 1/2 day on Friday the 16th.
In return the managers will be able to bring back valuable information from speakers who are industry leaders in the field of medical and health care.
The managers and directors will also learn about current changes in the health care law and how to stay compliant.
Also the event is currently offering a supersaver rate which will give no excuses in terms of budget being an issue not to attend.
The workshops are approved for recertification for PHR, SPHR and GPHR through the HR Certification institute.
Currently we are contacting potential attendees through their LinkedIn profile and by telephone to give info and details on attending.
The hardest task is making the potential attendees know that the event will be worth their while however with support from the local Colorado State office of the Society of Human Resources Management (SHRM), and the Colorado local office and national office of the National Association of Health Underwriters (NAHU) as partners, the goal of 300 + attendees should be able to be obtained.
